Time to wake up
Finally, after several weeks of hibernation, spongy sausages and the occasional pint, our Animation course has started at UWE Bristol. Thursday afternoon there was a brief introduction to the program, and they gave us an assignment to do for the storyboarding class — the next morning. We were to storyboard the nursery rhyme “Jack and Jill”.
Jack and Jill went up the hill, to fetch a pail of water
Jack fell down, and broke his crown
And Jill came tumbling after
Up got Jack, and home did trot
As fast as he could caper
He went to bed, and bound his head
With vinegar and brown paper
I chose the easy way and took most of the story literally, but added a slight dark twist. Really. Anyway, for a few hours work, I think it turned out OK. Enjoy.
